I was reading through my reading plan when this verse crossed my life again.
Cain got angry because God was not pressed with his efforts (sacrifice). He was angry that God accepted Abel’s offering but his own was rejected. God steps into the scene:
If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, but you must rule over it.”
I hear so many believers being angry at God. Normally because what they did for God didn’t work, or what they wanted God to do, He didn’t.
Consider this simple statement. Not doing your best for God, is not sin. But when you don’t, guess what is waiting? SIN or as we know “to miss the mark”
